Summer Bowlstice Longboard Festival with Roots Longboards – Friday 15th- 17th June 2018

Expect some serious shredding in a vintage bean shaped bowl, music to bop your head to, food to power you through the weekend, an outdoor cinema to chill you out in the evenings, competitions to get you stoked, prizes to be won and much more.

Watlington Bowl located at Watlington Cricket Club (OX49 5BZ) dates back to the early 90s and was designed with larger wheels in mind. There are the classic and well ridden lines throughout the bowl however the challenge in style and flow comes to those who invent their own unique run boasting creativity and lavish style. Little pockets and large rollers with a beautiful transition really excel this bowls classic style for first time riders all the way to the pocket snapping pro’s.

Don’t worry and be happy! We have that covered too! Roots Longboards will be providing a full fleet of demo boards to try play on over the weekend all for free to really get a feel of whats to offer!

Local bands and DJs will be performing to keep your head bopping, feet moving and your body grooving all weekend long! Keep your stomachs full from the Burger BBQ on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon/ evening and Sunday afternoon while the Pavilions bar will be running for the daytime duration of the festival, serving up cold drinks and keeping you hydrated. An open mic night for the bold and brave will keep you all entertained while the open air cinema will keep the evenings chilled!

Stalls from ATBShop and Roots Longboards will be selling all the quality goods and woods ranging from decks, hardware and griptape to kites, scooters, pads and much more.

Camping is available throughout the grounds of the Cricket Club, with plenty of pitching up space for tents and vans.

It is set to be the biggest and best yet so get yourselves down there, chill, longboard, skate, carve, pump, win, drink, eat and chill. Good times are promised to be had by all.
