ATBShop just want to say a big thank you to all who donated to the Grenfell tower disaster.
We had boxes of clothes, food, toiletries, toys and essentials donated to our indoor Skate Park on Hawksworth industrial estate. Although half way through our aid collection it was announced that Grenfell Tower had stopped collecting – we found small community groups were still collecting.
The ATBShop team drove down to London on Saturday to drop aid in, and to pay our respects. We lit candles on everyone’s behalf and left kind heartfelt messages of condolences. This week we posted even more boxes of aid down to the community on Latimer Road.
We wanted to thank each and everyone of you for stopping, and taking the time to help; Some of you drove over an hour to help. The donations were amazing and very generous as we sorted though the boxes and bags which you sent us. Designer children and baby clothes with tags still on, wonderful newly boxed toys and games, well thought out food items, fresh toiletries and so much more. We can’t thank you all enough.
Anything that wasn’t used was taken on Monday to the Prospect Hospice in Swindon. We filled the van up again with more of your aid efforts and drove down to their warehouse in Wroughton. Again they were so thankful for all your support.
Today we sent out last few boxes down to London, but wanted to thank you all personally. We hadn’t seen most of you ever before, but just wanted to say thanks and that nothing went to waste!
