We can finally let the cat out of the bag! Planning has been granted by Swindon borough council for ATBShop to go a head with our next extension and expansion plans for ATBShop Skate Warehouse. Yes the rumers are true – ATBShop is getting a rooftop skate park in 2018!!!

We are super proud to have secured the £250k skate space grant to fulfil this plan from GoPro. They will be investing into the ATBShop site on Hawksworth industrial estate, with the aim to film all their corporate urban GoPro footage here. This is good news for ATBShop, Swindon and of course the many riders who have spent many man hours in a bid to win the funding. Many other skate parks across the UK applied for this grant but ATBShop managed to pull it off. Factors such as the Swindon snow dome being built around the corner helped to secure this deal as Swindon is seen as an up and coming future city.
Swindon Borough Council said they welcomed the plans and hoped it would bring new tourism into the area.
