On Wednesday the 29th of May, we are going to be hosting our first charity event at the ATBShop Skate Warehouse. With a whole host of different activities, there really is going to be something for everyone.
We are going to be raising money for both the Prospect Hospice and Make-a-Wish Foundation, with proceeds made on the day going towards vital funding, we’re hoping to raise as much as possible.
They day kicks off at 10am with parents club. We will be hosting a mini sized competition for the young’uns around the park, fancy dress with a prize for the best costume and, lots of fun with face painting. Parents are obliged to take part!
From 12am to 6pm we are back to normal sessions, so you guys can get your shred on and warm up for the evenings ensuing madness.
Between 6pm and 8pm we’re holding both Scooter and, Skateboarding competitions. With categories to cater for all experience levels, we’re hoping everyone will get a chance to compete and enjoy themselves.
Then from 8pm to 11pm the real fun starts. We crack out the BBQ food (as long as Mother Nature complies with the weather) and get the music playing. With local bands and, DJs tearing it up there’s gonna be some seriously sick tunes playing. We’ll also have local jugglers down to show off their skills along with a slack line set up for you to test your balance.
All in all, it’s going to be a banger of an event. Great people, great music and a load of stuff to get up to!
