Half term is approaching so on Wednesday 27th May we’re doing our bit for charity by raising money for the Prospect Hospice.
The Prospect Hospice is a really worth while charity to support as they do so much for end of life patients, from all walks of life. It’s very sad but it does seem that almost everyone in Swindon has had some kind of connection with the Prospect Hospice over the years.
ATBShop has sadly lost many friends at the Prospect and more recently a fantastic lady called Becky. Becky has been helping organise free skate nights here at ATBShop for the young people of Swindon amongst other free activities across the town.
To show our appreciation and to celebrate Becky’s life, we are holding a fun day here at ATBShop on Wednesday the 27th May from 10am until 6pm during half term.
The day will kick off with a Parent’s Club from 10am to 12pm for 10 and unders. In this session we’ll be raising money with face painters for the little ones, giving the Mum’s the chance to grab a cheeky manicure plus there will be a few fun competitions too.
After that we will be having two mixed sessions from 12pm to 3pm and 3pm to 6pm. During the first session there will be a BBQ with proceeds again going to the Prospect. There will also be prizes, competitions and sticker throw outs during both sessions.
“So how can I help?” …we hear you cry!
There’s loads of ways to help and support this event, from baking cakes to sell on the day through to simply turning up to ride as 50% of your park entry will also go to charity.
Let’s have an amazing day and raise loads of money for a fantastic cause!
