So the last time we held a charity event here, we raised £700 for the Prospect Hospice and Make-A-Wish Foundation. This time we are raising money for The Blue Cross Centre and Blind Dog Rescue UK.
It’s all about the puppies and kitty’s after all
We’ve got loads of stuff planned for the day. We kick off at 10am with an extra special Parents Club. This session is for tens and under, and the parents ride for free. On the day there will be a prize for the best kid in fancy dress, there will also be some small fun comps, a chance to have your face painted for a small donation and, entertainment from our special kids entertainers.
After that we will be really kicking off into the day with loads of fun competitions. We will also have the slackline up in the garden. There will be a Huge game of S.C.O.O.T and, S.K.A.T.E with Prizes from Fracture Skate boards, TKC Distribution and, Domino’s Pizza Swindon.
From four pm onwards we will have a barbecue in the garden, with food being cooked by The Butcher’s Dog Sausage Company (Back by popular demand.), so save some money for a burger, or a sausage or two.
We’ve got some fantastic local DJs from Swindon and Reading playing for us, music starts at eight, so be ready to get your groove on.
There’s also an opportunity to take part in our amazing raffle. We’ve been given some really good prizes, including a Landyachtz Chinook longboard from the guys over at Shiner Distribution, Some expensive Lush goody bags, full of lovely goodys, a voucher for a Dirt Scooter session from Bugs Boarding center, and much more.
There will be loads of cakes for sale thanks to my little team of helpers, so make sure you bring loads of pennies with you. You’ll be eating cake for a good cause so you won’t feel bad.
