District V4 Pro Purple Player Custom Scooter

The District V4 Purple Player Custom Scooter is our own custom build district, exclusive to ATBShop. Featuring parts commonly found on higher end, pro completes; this scooter is competitively priced, especially for the quality you get.  This is the fourth evolution of this style of custom scooter for us so hence the V4 name (plus we think the DK1-V2 District deck is nicer than the V4!)  This is a tight dialled District Custom Scooter.

GRIPS – We used the ODI soft flangeless grips in black. They’re a lot comfier than the standard feel and, last pretty much just along.

 

BARS – The Mod Riot bars in metallic purple are a classic styled scooter bar, not pushing the boat out too far, but still hold their own among the new designs in terms of both aesthetics and strength.

 

CLAMP – The Mod quad clamp in Black is a steel clamp, it holds perfectly tight and, keeps those bars straight. Another great feature of this clamp is that it uses high tensile bolts, to deter rounding off.

 

HEADSET – We used a Mod Fully Sealed threadless headset. They’re very durable and bar spin so smooth! A great price for a great headset.

 

FORK – The Mod threadless Steel fork in metallic purple is a classic silhouette of a scooter fork. Incredibly durable and, brilliantly functional.

 

COMPRESSION – We used ICS compression in this scooter, both to keep the price down and, also to keep the scooter super light; ICS compression is one of the lightest ways to compress a threadless scooter and, dial your scooter.

 

DECK – The District DK-1 V2 deck is probably one of the best known freestyle scooter decks out there. Featuring a flat bottom with two thin grind rails to ensure long, smooth grinds on most surfaces. Reinforced head tube and, a special rubber flexing brake that stands up to more abuse than any; this is one sweet deck.

 

WHEELS/BEARINGS – We fitted the custom with Mod’s 110mm Super Light Alloy Gorgeous scooter wheels. These are some of the toughest wheels on the market, featuring special beading on the hub that allows the PU to flex without de-hubbing. In these wheels, we have fitted Abec9 sealed bearings.

 

GRIPTAPE – We fitted Black Enuff perforated griptape. The grip has tiny holes in it that allow it to fitted with no air bubbles trapped under the surface, meaning you will have one clean and, beautifully fitted grip job, with all the grip you could want.
