Apex Pro Scooter Deck 5in wide
The Apex pro scooter deck has been in development for the last three years. Apex have taken all the best features from scooterings most popular decks and added their own expertise and inventions to come up with one of the most advance decks currently available.
The deck features a Custom 6082 Australian made Aluminium extrusion build and a head tube angle of just 82.5.
The deck itself comes in three options:
- 5in (12.7cm) Length 600mm, Footspace 370mm.
All three options come in at 11.43mm wide and weigh between 1235-1285g, depending on the length.
It features an integrated head tube as standard. The Whole deck is TIG hand welded and is post weld heat treated to T6, ensuring the upmost strength.
All components are CNC machined for extra precision.
The deck features integrated grind rails in the base for longer, smoother grinds and, flat sides for finger whips.
One of the coolest components is the new Apex brake made from heat treated spring steel and rounded to reduce the chances or flat spotting. Also, they've used bolt in rear spacers, meaning they aren't going to rattle or fall out your deck whilst you're putting it together.
Lastly, Apex have put extra thought into maximising foot space on the deck, giving you and extra 10-15mm room on the deck.
