The Never Summer Cougar is the "traditional camber" model in Never Summers lineup but they have worked on the tradition camber profile and added some extra magic for extra grip. Recurve Tradition Camber is a powerful camber dominant profile and building on the shape of the former Hammer board it is a mid flexing 5mm tapered board with slight setback and a lot of stored energy. Being Never Summer then the build quality is awesome and the carbon, fibreglass and core are all squeezed inside with the super fast Never Summer base.
The Cougar has all the construction Never Summer is known for with teh R.I.P. Edge Hold to dig you some carve trenches down the groomers. This makes those sheet ice runs just smooth and you don't worry about slipping the edge. The carbon beams and Triax Fibreglass give explosive pop and spring in and out of turns. The early rise nose and 5mm taper give great float, forgiveness and power when you need it. This is very much a board for a more experienced rider though as the traditional camber and extras Never Summer have added you need more riding experience than their other rocker camber boards.
