The STX Race has fast become one of our favourite river touring boards. Now available in a longer 14ft version for more glide and volume. FXL material is great value for performance.
The STX Race board is perfect for river touring and on the sea. It's design is race led but without the super narrow waists of most full on race boards. The new 14ft long board is based off the super popular 12ft 6in version and perfect for bigger riders wanting the glide. There is a choice of three widths 27in, 30in and also the 32in wide version which just gives a bit more stability and volume for a larger rider or someone who wants a more stable ride. Not that the 30in wide version is unstable but at slower speeds then it does reduce stability a little. The 27in wide version is more "tippy" but super fast! The maneuverability and tracking are great on all sizes with it able to hold a straight line great and also pivot on the tail when you need it to in the corners. The new FXL material has suddenly given these boards a huge weight and stiffness advantage at an amazing price!
