Built to carve groomers and tear through the powder, the Salomon Super 8 Snowboard is a much needed addition to any true snowboarders quiver.
The Salomon Super 8 Snowboard is your all mountain power house more specifically focused on pushing those steep carves and cutting fine lines in fresh pow. Featuring a wider cut for enhanced edge control and a 8mm tapered tail to sink the tail in the pow, the Salomon Super 8 also uses a Backseat Camber profiling for a more explosive/ high energy carving capability. A flat section profile under the front foot allows for unbeatable control and manoeuvrability while a rockered nose works its magic in the deep stuff.
Featuring a specialised blend of fiberglass and basalt running down the length of the board for added rigidity, stability at higher speeds and power development, the Super 8 also uses cork and ABS inserts to absorb vibrations and reduce chatter to maintain a super smooth ride through a mixture of terrain. To develop the speed needed for its integrated dampening system to come into effect, Salomon have used a high quality Sintered base with a fine stone finish to leave your mates for dust, beat the flat sections and hard charge the steeps!
